The simple everyday reality of appearing at the window expresses a spontaneous desire for broadmindedness and exchange between an exclusive private dimension and the life that animates the outside world, and brings back memories of Maestro Menotti and the artists who were his guests, waving from the window of his house in Piazza Duomo to the public. Happy moments of spontaneity that bridged the "gap" between the great names of the international artistic scene and the festive Festival audience. Celebrating that tradition today, appearing at the window of Casa Menotti we have the winners of A Window on Two Worlds, an award established in 2010 by the Monini family, a tireless supporter of the Festival. After John Malkovich, Adriana Kucerova, Adriana Asti, and Claudio Santamaria, this year another two of the great artists of the Festival will pay tribute to the public from that window. For the high symbolic value of the Monini Prize, the photographic portraits of the winners will permanently enrich the gallery of the "Great Festival Artists" in the halls of Casa Menotti, which became the headquarters of the Festival Documentation Center in 2011 thanks to the commitment of the Monini Foundation.
