Saturday, July 14 at 21:00 at the Teatro Romano, Air France, prestigious partner of the Spoleto Festival dei 2Mondi, awards the prize "Culture beyond borders" to the work or the artist that best embodies the concept of cross-disciplinary and international nature of culture and art.

After the first edition of the award, assigned to the the Etoile Alessandra Ferri, this year Air France rewards the versatile actress Adriana Asti: artistic expression of the happy union between Italy and France and just awarded by the Minister Frederic Mitterrand with the title of Officier de l´Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Air France awards the great actress for the following reasons:

"Adriana Asti, a true champion of Italian theater and cinema in the world, in the course of her career has worked with great Italian and international directors, from Luchino Visconti to Pier Paolo Pasolini, from Bernardo Bertolucci to Luis Buñuel. Adriana is the perfect expression of the International language of theater and film, and with the magic and strength of her talent she has greatly contributed to undermining the national boundaries of art, promoting the internationality and transversality of artistic talent and culture.
