ENCOUNTERS WITH PAOLO MIELI
An ideal town where history and modernity, culture and innovation, tradition and future coexist without ever coming into conflict. Spoleto is the venue of choice, as well as the central theme of the new Encounters with Paolo Mieli, in its fourth edition this year.
The traditional review of conversations conducted by the historian and journalist Paolo Mieli with the participation of great protagonists of the political, economic and social life of our country, in a moment of confrontation and dialogue in which different visions, thoughts and experiences will be exchanged.

WORKING GROUP reserved for the institutions, with the patronage of the Umbria Region, the Province and the Municipality of Spoleto for a moment of reflection and confrontation, which will connect local institutions with stakeholders and important international guests all together to reconsider Spoleto, the town which hosts the oldest and most important Italian theatrical festival, as an ideal place to live in, do business and culture in a glocal dimension by recounting experiences and testimonies that can be an element of analysis and benchmark with other realities. Two hours of discussion that will end with the participants editing the "Spoleto Charter", a programmatic manifesto for the development of the town and its neighboring areas as a new reality for new, futuristic opportunities.

PRESENTATION of the "Spoleto Charter" to the townspeople at the council hall of the Municipality of Spoleto. The problems and proposals of those who live in the city will be heard live, in a fair confrontation with the public administration, and in the light of the decisions and commitments that emerged during the previous meetings. A moment of dialogue with the Mayor, provincial and regional institutions, along with stakeholders, and private citizens, as well as major international and territory urban designers, landscape experts, and public and private infrastructure managers who care about Spoleto´s fate. On this occasion, at the closing and sealing of the works, the "Spoleto Charter", the document which emerged from these meetings, will be shared and signed in front of the townspeople, and will guide the creation of a unique experiment for our country. The signing of the "Charter" will conclude the two weekends of work and analysis.
