After last year’s success, Dialoghi a Spoleto/Dialogues in Spoleto by Paola Severini Melograni are back. Appointments with women to meet with other women and find out how much they have in common with each other even if they represent different scenarios of society with the roles they hold or the professions they perform.
Dialogues for confrontation, (without exceeding the irony of a world made only of women), giving visibility and space to women invested with great responsibility for what they do or what they represent.
In the last edition, 21 extraordinary Prima Donnas took part representing culture, scientific research, politics, schooling, trade unions, communication and entertainment. Each told us her personal experience, not only to combine promotion and feminine value, but confronting it with the new challenges that society requires. This Second Edition, which crosses national borders, is dedicated to women on the international scene. They are women who not only in Europe represent governments or ministries, positions that had been entrusted to men until yesterday. They are women who, due to scientific - cultural - humanitarian merits, have won important awards and in every case are ’winning’ women.
The Dialogues are curated and conceived by Paola Severini Melograni (who will lead the debates), Linda Laura Sabbadini for the statistical analysis, by Filomena Greco and Nicoletta Di Benedetto for the development of the project, by Clelia Piperno, and Diva Ricevuto who will deal with the European Community relations. The editorial office is by Andrea Battilana.
