Giorgio Ferrara took part yesterday, January 21st, 2020, at the inauguration of the " Culture and Tourism Year Italy China 2020".
The Ministers of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the two countries, Dario Franceschini and Luo Shugang, gave way to this important initiative which aims at strengthening the bonds that already unite two "superpowers of culture" such as Italy and China. Among others, there was also Michele Dall’Ongaro, President and Superintendent of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia and Francesco Rutelli, President of the Italy China Cultural Forum at the opening ceremony.
During the day, the program hosted the Forum "International cooperation in the tourism and cultural sector between Italy and China: new perspectives", the inauguration of the Photographic Exhibition on Italian and Chinese UNESCO sites and the Concert of the JuniOrchestra of the Academy of Saint Cecilia and the soloists of the National Symphony Orchestra of the People´s Republic of China.
The program of initiatives, which was opened today by the Forum, is intense and involves a collaboration for culture and tourism that goes beyond 2020, and involves all sectors, from exhibitions to filmmaking, from music to theater.
