The Foundation Festival of Two Worlds, with the support of the Umbria Region, for the third year is promoting a training course for "Theater mediators" entitled PUBLICSPACE: Theatrical Mediation as Promotion and Educating the Public to Productions.
The course is organized and carried out by Giorgio Testa, expert in theater education, creator and coordinator of many national and international projects and by Sara Ferrari, organizer, theatrical mediator and coordinator of the training projects.
During the Festival, as an ideal fulfillment of the training course, the project Sottoventi will be carried out: the opportunity for young people (under twenty years of age) to access an "initiation" to theatrical language in its diverse variations, across paths of vision organized for them during the three weekends of the Festival. A sort of educational summer camp where they become a community within the adventure of meeting the theater.
A meeting space therefore, under the guidance and care of Giorgio Testa and Sara Ferrari, where the theatrical mediators can accompany the young people through the vision of various performances of the Spoleto59 program, like stages of a journey, within an experience that combines knowledge and emotion.
A path addressed to young people but also open to the curious spectators who are eager to experience the Festival in an active manner.
