We all have experience of violence on the web, whether it be unjustified hostility, hurtful words or mockery. We know how to hurt other people, especially women, who are typically targets of hate speech. Students from schools in Turin and Milan discuss hate speech with their peers, making reference to photos, videos and posters, to show that women will not take offence, “not even with a click”.
SOLAR ENERGY FOR AFRICAN WOMEN
When the sun or wind is transformed into energy, African women are freed from the hard work of collecting wood and dung which they burn to produce heat and fire for cooking. As a result, they are less likely to die from pollution. These are small changes, but the results are extraordinary: providing communities in Sub-Saharan Africa with solar technology starter kits has allowed for the emergence of female entrepreneurs. Girls can participate in village life, acquire dignity, and some can even study.

I’d like to very briefly describe some figures relating to the number of women working in science, the prejudices that continue to limit their presence in this field and the reasons we need to reverse this trend.
LUCREZIA BORGIA, TWENTY-YEAR OLD LEADER OF THE RENAISSANCE
Governor of Spoleto, Regent of the Papal States, Duchess of Ferrara. Lucrezia Borgia was all of these things and much more. One of the most courageous and mysterious female figures of the Italian Renaissance, she occupied a role of great responsibility and prestige, in the land of the Festival dei Due Mondi, at the age of just 20. Her legacy has spanned centuries, and offers incredible insights into female leadership throughout history.
