Roberto Fassone
Concerto
The ground floor of Palazzo Collicoa hosts the first solo exhibition in a public museum by artist Roberto Fassone. The exhibition is curated from Saverio Verini and presents a series of works created by the artist throughout his career. The exhibition project constitutes a first retrospective reading ofopera by Fassone, who is active from more than a decade in the field of Italian and international contemporary art, and recently awarded the prestigious MAXXI BVLGARI PRIZE for Digital Art.
(Savigliano, 1986) lives and works to Florence. His research is about information, inspiration and imagination: his ideas are the result of spontaneous, ritual and occult practice. In recent years he has exhibited and performed his work at Italian and international institutions, including: Maison de la Culture, Luxembourg (2023); MAXXI L'Aquila (2022); Ars Electronica, Linz (2022); Vision du Rèel, Nyon, (2022); 25th Gabrovo Biennial of Humor & Satire in Art, Gabrovo (2022); Lo schermo dell'arte, Florence (2021); Italian Cultural Institute, Paris (2021); Fanta-MLN, Milan (2019); MAMbo, Bologna (2018); Quadriennale di Roma (2016). His practice is open to collaboration: over the years he has conceived projects with Carolina Cappelli, Giacomo Raffaelli, Riccardo Banfi, Mattia Pajè, Kasia Fudakowski, Jacopo Jenna, Friends Make Books. He founded the publishing house Roi de Coupe and was recently awarded the MAXXI BVLGARI PRIZE for Digital Art.
