The Spoleto State Archives Section continues its research into the origins of Festival dei Due Mondi. Through a conference, a book, and an exhibition, extraordinary moments of history are traced to reread the origins of the event.
The lecture, with the authors of the volume is included among the special events of Festival dei Due Mondi in the "Cultivating Memory" format.
The exhibition "Spoleto 1963, the Sixth Festival dei Due Mondi", to curated by the Spoleto State Archives Section, is set up on the premises of the archival institution (Largo G. Ermini, 1), which can be visited from June/July until September 30, 2023.
The volume "Spoleto 1963, the sixth Festival dei Due Mondi. Protagonists and Performances by Moreno Cerquetelli; Spoleto '63 Told by the NY Times and the Foreign Press by Marco Rambaldi; Spoleto 1963, the City and the Festival by Antonella Cristina Manni; The 1963 Festival in the Documents of the Spoleto State Archives Section by Paolo Bianchi.
