Synopsis
For the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy,
a day dedicated to the Risorgimento with lectures and dances, for a historical reenactment in the streets and palaces of Spoleto.

with the Participation of Richard Powers, Yvonne Vart and Donald Francis
and the Support of Stanford University Dance Division, Révérences, Terpsichore and Carnet de Bals
On the day of July 2, theRoma 800 Association offers an itinerary to learn more about history and also rediscover some lesser-known aspects of our Risorgimento: dance, costume, and music.
In the morning, at at 11 a. m. at the 17th September Hall of the New Theater, a lecture series: History of the Risorgimento as well as History of the Art, Music, Costume and Dance of the Risorgimento.
In the late afternoon , dancers in period costumes will walk the streets of Spoleto in a promenade that will conclude with a performance of 19th-century dances in Piazza del Duomo.
to closing of the day the doors ofPalazzo Collicola will open to host the Grand Risorgimento Ball "Count Pompey Campello della Spina."
