Synopsis
The Festival dei Due Mondi continues its commitment to nurturing the talent of a new generation of Italian theatre-makers through its collaboration with the Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica Silvio d’Amico. Within this framework, Claudio Tolcachir directs the Company’s students in Atti segreti per persone anonime.
The invitation was to take a leap into the void together - to find the courage to bring to the stage their own obsessions, questions, and the themes that moved them most deeply. Each of them offered their personal world, and together we built a structure capable of holding them all.
Loneliness, fear of the future, fragility, appearances, nostalgia - this sense of not belonging has washed over and coloured a gallery of tender, sincere human beings who sustain themselves through one another.
From this shared process, the performance took shape. Each supported and upheld the others. A piece of writing born of countless hands, with bodies and energies lent back and forth.
It was an intense, dizzying journey, one that inevitably sowed doubt and legitimate fears - essential elements of any meaningful rehearsal process.
The final result is a work of great sensitivity: playful yet committed, a genuine ensemble creation that belongs entirely to the group and to each of its members. They - each of them adrift in a sea of people. The nobodies. And yet, each one worthy of having their story told.
