Aulularia

An old miser discovers a pot of gold, carefully hidden and buried beneath his hearth. This discovery occurs by the deliberate will of the Lar Familiaris, who reveals the treasure to its rightful heir, Euclio, in order to provide a dowry for his daughter’s marriage. Euclio buries the pot once more and guards it jealously, becoming consumed by the fear of theft and the suspicion that others may uncover his secret.
The young LaRibalta Company takes the audience on a journey into the theme of greed, approached through their signature comic, clown-inspired style and dynamic rhythm.
