Synopsis
Belgian composer Ben Bertrand employs bass clarinet and a wide array of electronic devices to create hypnotic sonic flows that expand both time and space. He has toured extensively across Europe, performing at festivals and venues such as Meakusma Festival, Ancienne Belgique, Le Lieu Unique, BRDCST Festival, Schiev Festival, Le Guess Who?, World Minimal Music Festival, Rewire Festival, Cafe OTO, Ina GRM, and Sonic Acts. He has released several albums on Stroom and other labels, and has appeared on numerous compilations. He collaborated with Christina Vantzou on her latest album N5, released by Kranky. His most recent record, Relic Radiation, was released in March 2025 on Stroom.
