A survey of Theatre for Social Change and Development from a variety of perspectives and geographical areas. The Conference brings together the testimonies of an international group of experts, practitioners and artists working on the practical application of theater as a tool to stimulate social change and the development of territories by involving communities in their artistic practices. It also presents the conclusions of the European project PAIR Performing Art in Residence, supported by the European Commission through the GRUNDTVIG Program, to in which partners from Germany, Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia and Italy participated.
