Carla Fendi STEAM Award 2025
During the closing event of Spoleto68 Festival dei Due Mondi William Kentridge will receive the Carla Fendi STEAM 2025 Award,in recognition of his outstanding artistic talent and his valuable work — personally and with The Centre for the Less Good Idea — promoting social issues.
The Centre, founded in 2016 by William Kentridge and Bronwyn Lace in Johannesburg, South Africa, nurtures collaborative and cross-disciplinary projects, with a particular focus on supporting artists from the African continent.
