Theatre mediation programmes
These programmes are designed for students, aiming to prepare young audiences for performances by stimulating emotional engagement and encouraging critical thinking.
Curated by Elisabetta Proietti, Lorella Natalizi and Mauro Pietrini, these initiatives transform theatre attendance into a vivid and conscious experience.
CondiVisioni is a cultural and educational workshop led by theatre mediators and arts professionals—a space where young audiences become an “intelligent and responsible chorus” through discussion, creative reflection, and dialogue around performances.
Students’ curiosity is sparked through playful educational activities before the show, shared engagement during the performance, and post-show discussion—making each theatrical experience complete and participatory.
For the 69th edition, the programme is developed in collaboration with the “Sansi Leonardi Volta” High School in Spoleto, which hosts the meetings. Participation is reserved for upper secondary school students in the city, and both workshops and selected performances are entirely free of charge.
Schedule to be announced.

An accessible and inclusive Festival
“I Luoghi del Festival – Senza Frontiere” is the project through which the Festival dei Due Mondi broadens and diversifies its audience, promoting an increasingly accessible and inclusive cultural experience. Through dedicated workshops, audio descriptions, and tactile pathways, the initiative enables meaningful engagement with performances for people with intellectual and sensory disabilities of all ages.
In continuity with recent editions, collaboration with the Spoleto 2 Comprehensive Institute is strengthened through an educational programme that actively involves students in designing accessible tools and content. Pupils contribute to the creation of tactile maps and historical-artistic descriptions of Festival venues, playing a direct role in building an inclusive cultural experience.
As accessible guides, students also accompany audiences on stage before performances begin, leading a discovery journey through sets, costumes, and props – an immersive experience that brings new audiences closer to theatre while breaking down barriers and encouraging broader participation.
The project is supported by the Fondazione Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto and the Lions Club Spoleto.
