No Plexus duo at Spoleto68: an immersive performance of visuals and experimental electronic music
The artists of No Plexus are set to arrive for the final weekend of the 68th Festival dei Due Mondi: on Saturday, July 12 at 11:00 PM, Palazzo Collicola will host the immersive performance of the Dutch-Australian duo.
Blending experimental electronic pop with contemporary classical music, No Plexus stands out for its powerful, immersive audiovisual performances, where epic synths, intense vocals, hyperreal sound design, and pulsating rhythms merge with a strikingly sensory visual and lighting setup.
Vocalist and composer Bec Plexus and producer No Compliments explore personal, natural, and mythological dimensions, enriching their sonic universe with fluid textures and synthetic birdsong. Balancing raw expressiveness with technical sophistication, they create live experiences charged with emotional intensity, combining theatricality, vocal virtuosity, and refined electroacoustic arrangements.
Following their debut album Rite of Passage (2023), the duo has honed their live act, bringing their performances to some of the world’s most renowned stages and festivals, including MOFO Festival (France), Rewire (Netherlands), A’LARME! (Germany), Le Lieu Unique (France), Musica (France), MUTEK Montreal (Canada), MUTEK Mexico, and the International Symposium of Electronic Art (Australia).
