Nunzia Picciallo

Nunzia Picciallo, an award-winning artist born in Italy, works as a creator, performer, and teacher of gaga in different parts of the world. His research and his creations are located at the intersection between dance, performance, conceptual art and visual arts. The investigation that characterizes Nunzia's work is a continuous search for the foundational dynamics between the body - understood as subjectivity in the making - and the system/space. The performative act becomes the possibility of opening up widespread dialogicity and invites a presence beyond the surface and the image. Present the performance Lemmy B., process and practice of self-determination: in a naked scene, where sound dramaturgy is a constant gaze that leaves no way out, the body, as the only device capable of reconfiguring grammatics of power, subverting canons, exploring niches of pleasure and constituent alliances.
