Synopsis
Le foglie delle radici is the work by Giuseppe Penone that inspired the poster for the Festival’s 69th edition. Created in bronze and living vegetation, it establishes a kind of mirrored image between two plants. The point at which shrub and sculpture meet becomes the work’s dense punctum – a “fertile space” from which life radiates, a symbolic node uniting the two sculptural forms. Previously exhibited in prestigious settings such as Palace of Versailles and the Boboli Gardens, it will accompany visitors throughout the entire duration of the Festival.
