Synopsis
Author of the poster for the Festival’s 69th edition, Giuseppe Penone (Garessio, 1947) is one of the key figures in contemporary art. His works, focused on the dialectical relationship between humans and nature, have been exhibited in major museums worldwide and in leading international exhibitions. At Palazzo Collicola, Penone presents a series of sculptures selected and installed in dialogue with the architecture of the Piano Nobile, emphasizing its distinctive features. Anafora, the title of the exhibition curated by Saverio Verini, offers a selection of some of Penone’s most significant works while providing a new interpretation of the spaces within Palazzo Collicola.
