Sarajevo e la strage dell’uomo tranquillo

We find ourselves immersed in a war without name or definition – one we pass through and which passes through us, even if we cannot name it. Yet it concerns us deeply. Our daily lives are shaped by a silent alertness: our so-called peacetime is anything but peaceful—rather nervous, hysterical, and distrustful.
What is war? Is it what happens elsewhere—in newspapers, on battlefields – or within our homes, within ourselves? How many forms does it take? Or is it always the same?
The work reflects on solitude in its many forms—professional, emotional, physical, social – and imagines the possibility of a post-war condition: a rebuilding grounded in shared physical effort, beyond fear and isolation. It asks how one might be less alone through a solo, and suggests that humanity exists only in the present moment.
