A dramaturgical and choreographic research project that stems from an investigation into the ambiguity of the push gesture, in relational, individual and physical terms. The object to which this research refers is the Altalena. An object with an ancient simplicity whose feeling and condition we all know; able to give us back a specific and exclusive dynamic of movement. Starting from these premises and from the investigation surrounding the Altalena, whose playful dimension is also reported, the work focuses on the search for that gray area that lies between play and violence, between playful and sadistic, between joke and spite. Claudio Larena is an Italian artist, craftsman and performer who combines installation, dance and performance in works that explore the relationship between body, space and objects. Active in national and international settings, he has participated in events such as the Milan Re-Mapped Summer Festival and the Romaeuropa Festival, where in 2024 he presented We're Working for You (we apologize for the inconvenience), a work that transforms the urban construction site into a creative space for reflection. His artistic research focuses on themes such as work, movement and the interaction between man and environment, with an experimental and interdisciplinary approach.
